LED lightbulbs compared with CFLs-LED is a Better choose

In the past years,Compact Fluorescent Bulbs(CFLs) are much efficient than standard incandescent light bulbs.But please watch out the big problems of CFLs.

And LED's have a number of significant advantages. They use even les electricity than compact fluorescent lights, they can last tens of thousands of hours, they are almost impossible to break, and they have no flicker like some fluorescent bulbs.

LEDs don't contain mercury

LED lights contain absolutely no mercury or toxic chemicals that you find in Incandescent or fluorescent bulbs.Most CFLs contain about 3-5mg of mercury which is toxic to individuals,especially that are still developing,such as children and pregnant women.

LEDs are much more efficient than CFLs

LEDs is twice efficient than CFLs at least.A 5 W LED bulb give the same brightness and light as a15 W CFL bulb.LEDs have a much more long life time than CFLs.LED lights average life time is 50000 Hours,LEDs can be cycled on and off with no problem and work better in cold temperatures.CFLs life is great shorter when it is only turned on for a few minutes and turned off.And more times the CFLs open,it lifespan would be short even same with incandescent bulb.The life of a CFL is significantly shorter if it is only turned on for a few minutes at a time
